  • Not at all. Most of my clients are starting after a long break, or have never followed a strength program before. Every plan is tailored to your current level so you can build confidence and results safely.

  • Yes — but not the way you might think. Most women have been told endless cardio is the key to staying lean and healthy, but research shows that after 35, especially in perimenopause and menopause, strength training is the foundation for bone density, muscle mass, and long-term metabolism.

    We’ll make strength your priority, then add in the right type of cardio (short, high-quality bursts or steady walks for recovery and heart health) — not hours on the treadmill. This way, you’ll protect your bones and hormones, build lean muscle, and still support heart health without burning yourself out.

  • Depending on your current experience and what you already have at home, we’ll typically start with bodyweight or light weights, focusing first on form, mobility, and movement patterns. As you progress, we’ll gradually advance into a simple at-home setup when you’re ready. To get the best results, clients eventually add an adjustable dumbbell set — I’ll guide you to options that fit your space and budget. Some women later expand with a barbell or small home gym as they get stronger, but this is completely optional.

  • That’s totally fine — many clients start with no equipment at all. In our first sessions we’ll focus on bodyweight, light movement, and mobility, using what you already have at home. If we’re in person, I’ll bring what we need. If we’re fully virtual, I’ll adapt to your space and resources. As you progress, I’ll guide you toward a simple adjustable dumbbell set, so you can keep building confidence and strength without needing a full home gym.

  • No travel, no wasted time, no feeling watched in a busy gym. I provide the plan, the equipment guidance, and the accountability directly to you.

    Most programs push women to “do more” and “eat less” while draining energy. This approach is hormone-smart, designed for women 35+ experiencing midlife hormonal changes, so you build strength, bone density, and confidence without burning out.

  • Your program is flexible — you’ll have workouts to follow on your own, even if you’re traveling or short on time. In-home sessions are just one part of a bigger plan that works around your lifestyle.

  • Yes — I’ll help you understand how to work with your cycle, not against it. We’ll pay attention to where your energy, strength, and recovery naturally shift throughout the month, so your training feels supportive instead of draining. Training always be guided by your symptoms, not rigid rules - this will ensure max recovery and therefore max results.

  • Virtual sessions are hosted through a secure video link. Once you book, you’ll receive a private invitation with everything you need to join from your computer, tablet, or phone. There’s nothing to download — just click the link at your scheduled time and you’ll be connected.

I’m a Certified Personal Trainer with 10 years of experience helping women (re)build strength, muscle, and confidence at every stage of life. Like many of my clients, I noticed firsthand in my mid-30s how changes in energy, recovery, and body composition can feel frustrating and discouraging.
